Choma
General Information
Choma is a small town situated in the Southern Province of Zambia. It is located in the Southern parts of the country and has a total population of approximately 40 000 inhabitants. The native inhabitants of this area are called the Tonga people and the town houses a museum depicting and charting their cultural history.
Choma serves as the commercial hub to the central parts of the province and has an extensive market-related industry. This town has the typical climate of Southern Zambia with hot summers and mild winters.
