General Information

Mansa, previously known as Fort Rosebery, is the capital town of the Luapula Province of Zambia. It is located in the Northern parts of the country and it is named after local Chief Mansa and the small Mansa River. Mansa serves as the area’s administrative centre and is located between the Luapula River and Lake Bangweulu.

The town of Mansa has an airport for those tourists who would like to visit via air travel. A very important mining company is situated in the town and is called Genesis Procurement Limited and this is a big boost for the area’s business community.
